Hello and welcome to Tuesdayâs Color Challenge. Chris is hosting this week and she chose Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Coastal Cabana as this weekâs lovely challenge colors. Stitches for dessert.
For todayââs card, I began by stenciling the background using an ink blending brush. I then stamped a few black leaves onto the background. Iâm always nervous to cut into any part of my cards because Iâm afraid my cut will come out unintentionally wonky. Still, I went ahead and used a stitched rectangle die and cut into the center of the background. I glued the pieces onto a top folding A2 card. The center piece is popped up just a bit. Itâs a little hard to see the stitches in my photo.
Next, the flowers were stamped, fussy cut, and placed on top of the leaves. Last but not least, I stamped a Thank You sentiment. Thank you cards always seem to come in handy.
Thanks for taking a look. Hope you join in this weekâs color challenge.

Lovely thank you card, Marianne! I have that same stencil, and now I need to get it out and use it. Your background is gorgeous. Love the bouquet of flowers, too!
